Now it’s time for the infamous weekend re-cap!!

Headed over to Robert’s for a crawfish boil. It was yummy as always! Robert did a great job!!!

Saturday: Met up with Kathy, her husband Tom and my friend Daniel for lunch at Onion Creek Cafe. Afterwards, I followed Kathy and Tom home (with a few stops at Lowe’s and a local craft store). At her place Kathy worked on tweaking my blog template. I wasn’t much help but I enjoyed spending time with her! Thank you!

Saturday night: Kenny and I were both too tired to go out so we stayed in and watched a movie.

Sunday: Kenny & I had this day to ourselves so we got up late and then decided to hit the Meyerland Plaza shopping area. We lunched at La Madeleine and then hit a few stores. Kenny bought some new books and a bunch of new stuff for the kitchen (he’s on a new cooking fervor) while I found three absolutely wonderful dresses for very reasonable prices (3 for ~$100). They are all fun and fit me great with no alterations needed. I’ll be wearing one to Mike and Christine’s wedding over Memorial Day weekend. Kenny will just have to take me out to dinner so I can wear the one he fell in love with and bought for me.

Sunday night: Once again, we were tired from our shopping excursion so we watched another movie at home.

Our week is getting busy already too. Last night I had salsa class, tonight we have friends over for dinner, tomorrow my sister will be in town for the night as she passes through on her way from Florida to Washington state and the upcoming weekend is also full of various activities including my spa day and a housewarming party. Wow! I think I’ll survive though! At least I hope I do…

we had some HUGE crawfish Friday night in Lake Charles. they weren’t very juicy (I like to suck the juice out of the heads. ;-) ), but they were really meaty. hopefully I’ll get some more before the season is over.

Cute dress, you look great in it! And how’d you like Cheaper by the Dozen? Hubs and I watched it last week and I laughed so hard, then cried  I loved it.

I didn’t like Cheaper by the Dozen nearly as much as I wanted, but I’m curious about your second movie… was it good??

And that dress is very flattering. I need to start making some of my own clothes… so I can find something that looks nice… heh. :)
