Product Plug

I’m not into hand or body lotions. I hardly use them and then only when I notice my hands are unusually dry. A while back though, I bought some foot cream to see if I could soften up that tough, dry skin on my heel that I always get because I wear sandals or open back shoes 95% of the time. I didn’t use it regularly so I didn’t see a difference. I was also using a pumice stone in the shower and trying some exfoliating lotions designed for the feet. I didn’t keep up with the routine though and as a result saw no improvement.
I don’t know why but I decided to give the overnight cream one more try last week and wow! It’s working now! Almost every night for the past week I have only applied the lotion before going to bed (no pumice stone or exfoliants). Today I feel and see the difference. The heel is still a bit tough – I think it always will be – but the skin is so much softer and it looks less dry. I’ll keep using it and see if I can’t get rid of that tough skin on the bottom of the heel.
So there you have it, a rare cybertoad product plug! Now go and try Dr. Scholl’s Pedicure Essentials Ultra Overnight Foot Cream yourself! Your feet will thank you!

I’ve used that and it really worked well. I’ve been meaning to get more, but keep skipping that aisle at the store.

When I had my pedicure at Canyon Ranch in Las Vegas, she asked if we had wood or tile floors in the house. I told her yes. She then said that I must walk around barefoot at home a lot – which I do. It turns out that your feet don’t like that and it makes your heels hard and cracked. Who knew?! She told me to wear fuzzy slippers or shoes while at home – so now I leave the Birks on, and my feet are much happier for it!
I’m going to have to try the cream now too though – I’m all for softer feet!
