Accessorizing Betty

A couple of weekends ago I decided to accessorize Betty a bit. I’m being really picky about her looks but I think I got her some perfect “embellishments”!
When I first got the car I got fun little mats for the front…
This month I *finally* got the plush daisy flower I wanted since I bought the car. I thought I would have to order it on-line but my dealership got a bunch in so I bought it when I was in there getting my speakers checked out. I also found a window decal that I liked for my back window. 
It’s a cute silver frog….
Next on my wish list is a rubber cargo mat for my trunk. VW sells one but it is a rubber with fabric mat – it’s durable fabric that can be washed and is meant to get dirty – but I’d prefer the rubber one since I’ve been able to find one.
I am also going to see how much a nice silver pin-stripe from the dealership would cost so I can get some extra style!
And of course, sooner or later I’ll break down and pay the exorbitant price for the New Beetle floaty pen! Can’t you tell I’m having fun with my Bug!?

you can always get a pinstripe for a lot cheaper than the dealer at any kind of accesory shop…i worked at one back home and we did pinstripe for sometimes as low as $15!!

Yeah – and I may look into that if the dealership is too expensive but I’d prefer the official pinstrip. It’s got a VW logo integrated into the stripe and looks cool.:cool:

Is it wrong that every time I see your car, I wish I could get one too? Oh well, the Honda is paid for. But I still wish I had a bug!
