Star Wars, sushi and Law & Order
June 21st 2005 by cybertoad in general, re-capsWe had a relatively uneventful weekend which was fine by me. We made it a point to not plan anything with friends. We wanted it just be “our” weekend. Here is my recap:
Friday night: We had dinner (sushi) and drinks with friends. It was pretty low key.
Saturday: Kenny and I had the whole day to ourselves. We went south for a charity event then spent some time at the new Fry’s in Clear lake.
Saturday night: Kenny already had seen it but I finally got to see if for myself: Star Wars, Episode III. *sigh* It was so cheesy!! I was so disappointed in the story line. The lines were so lame and the acting was non-existent – except for Ewan.
Sunday: Watched several hours of a Law & Order marathon then finally got up and got some stuff done around the house. The dishes were cleared, my two fish tanks were cleaned and I tackled the scary black stuff in our shower.
Sunday night: I started to get a sore throat in the late afternoon and I wasn’t feeling too great by the time I went to bed. We watched In Good Company which I liked more than I had expected.
Yesterday I stayed home from work – I was unable to sleep well the night before because I was congested and couldn’t breathe through my nose. I am back at work today but still congested. I at least got a good night’s rest though so I’ll be OK.
Now I must get back to work! Hasta luego…

I also liked In Good Company. It was nice to see Topher Grace outside of the 70’s get up, he is actually kinda cute.

LOL! I watched the SVU marathon this past Sunday…that’s my favorite show. I am sad that Star Wars wasn’t so good. I wanted to go see it, but may not now.
