Girls’ Weekend, Movies & Laziness
November 8th 2005 by cybertoad in movies, re-caps*Yawn* It’s only Tuesday and my allergies have flared up. Last night I didn’t get much sleep so I called in to work and told them I needed to catch up on sleep and that I would be in mid-morning. I took my allergy medication and it did wonders. I was able to come in and felt better than I did before the allergies flared up!
Anyway, the weekend was spent being lazy and my house has suffered for it – it is a mess!!! Here is the re-cap…
Friday night: Stayed in and watched a wonderful documentary on the Cuban refugees that came over on rafts back in 1994. It followed the story of about half of dozen and over a decade or me and how their lives turned out after they left. Very well made and very informative.
Saturday: Met Hanna for lunch and ran errands with her in preparation for a girl’s night at her place. Her husband was out of town hunting so she invited a handful of us over to spend the night. Kathy, Kymberlie, Sherry and eventually Kendall came over and we spent the evening watching movies (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Kissing Jessica Stein), eating lasagna and just be girls.
Sunday: Slept in at Hanna’s. When we did get up we didn’t move from the living room and all of us fell in and out of sleep as we lazily watched a few more movies on cable. We were just so lazy, none of us wanted to move. We finally left Hanna alone around 2 PM. Since we had stayed up so late the night before I went home and properly napped on the couch. LOL.
Sunday night: Kenny and I finally went our anniversary dinner date. We headed to The Rainbow Lodge and had a yummy dinner. Thanks Honey!
