Whoosh – another weekend flies by!

Friday night: Went out to dinner with friends.
Saturday: My work meeting was moved to 10:30 AM and took place at my boss’s home. It wasn’t too bad and afterward I picked up Kenny for lunch and we spent the afternoon shopping.
Saturday night: Due to a death in the family, our friends had theater tickets that were going to go unused so they gave them to us. The Alley Theatre’s production of The Pillowman was wonderful. It was a 3-hour play and despite the posters warning us that the “play contains scenes and language that some may find disturbing” it was well-acted. How you can make a play about killing children work so well gives you an idea of how well-written it is. The story was disturbing and chilling and comedic at times. Recommended but not for the easily offended or shocked.
Afterward Kenny and I headed to The Twelve Spot for some drinks. We had a good time talking despite my lowered alcohol tolerance. LOL.
Sunday: What can I say? It was completely unproductive!!
