This & That

February 21st 2006 by cybertoad in general

 I forgot to mention my stupidity earlier this year… remember those Wicked tickets I bought Kenny for Christmas? Chica Chic made me realize I had bought tickets for next year – 2007, not this year. Ugh. I feel stupid but I never expected tickets to be sold almost a year and a half before the show date!

 We have recently become fans of Crossing Jordan. We are watching old and new episodes. Much more interesting than CSI in my opinion. We were also recently told about the show Hustle by a friend. Another good British show that is now on our TiVo season pass.

 Recent movies watched: Risky Business (can you believe I had never seen it?), Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, The Interpreter, Broken Flowers (not as I good as I hoped). By the way, we are really enjoying our NetFlix membership and don’t miss the lines at Hollywood Video!

 On a more personal level, I am going through some professional turmoil. Lots of stress and angst so keep me in your thoughts as I work things through.

 On the lighter side of things, at least I have a weekend full of friends – a Happy Hour with fellow Houston bloggers, a dinner with a friend and a baby shower…

I’m on the verge of ditching Crossing Jordan; I liked the show at first, but lately it has strayed a lot from the original format. I liked it better back then.

I only ever watch CSI on DVD (NetFlix!), so no commercials makes me happy.

  7. Christine Says:

ACK! Clicked the submit button by mistake.

I hope the work issues are getting sorted out for you – I’ve been thinking of you.

Trust me, next year when everyone is scrambling for Wicked tickets you’ll be glad you bought them a year ahead of time. I have three sitting on my bookcase right now!
