Thursday: We headed Downtown to go see Garrison Keillor perform with the Houston Symphony. He has a weekly show on NPR and is an amazing story-teller. He combined his stories with symphony music – we had a great time!

Friday: Avoided the St. Patty’s Day crowds and headed to the Hunyadi’s for some green beer and a movie with an Irish focus.

Saturday: Ran a bunch of errands (picked up dry-cleaning, alterations, dropped off recycling) and spent money at Buchanan’s buying flowering plants for the newly refreshed garden bed.

Saturday night: Headed out to help Kymberlie celebrate her birthday…

Sunday: After a late start (we slept in), Kenny weed & feeded the front and bark yards while I planted the plants I bought the day before. Then we headed back to Home Depot and bought the rest of the bricks I would need to build a matching brick wall around the crepe myrtle tree. While I worked on that project on my own outside, Kenny finally installed our new stainless steel kitchen sink and faucet. Before and after pictures are at the end of this post. We both finished in a couple of hours with no major hassles and cleaned up for the evening.

Sunday night: Headed over to Hanna and Michael’s for dinner (and to offer some tech help with their wireless router). Had a great time catching up with them!
