Another weekend has flown by and of course, my long to-do list hardly got touched. *sigh* Oh well, on to my weekend re-cap in the extended entry…

Friday night – A dozen friends came over for pizza and a viewing of Clerks. Since Clerks 2 has just come out we wanted to re-visit the original before seeing the sequel. It was a wonderful refresher. What great dialogue! If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it!

Saturday - Kathy was in town and had spent the night so Christine joined us and together we headed out to lunch at Andre’s. Afterward Kathy went her own way and Christine and I spent the day running errands – car inspection (I was 3 weeks overdue!), recycling, Hobby Lobby (spent too much time in there…LOL). We even squeezed in a quick photo shoot for the current Assignment Houston. It started to rain on us but we stuck it out as long as we could before our cameras could get ruined. We headed home and then Mike and Christine’s son joined us. We ate leftover pizza, watched a movie and Christine and I worked on editing the photos we took that day.

Sunday – With grocery list in hand Kenny and I headed out to lunch and more errands. We squeezed in a couple of geocache finds (quick, easy grabs – now I am up to 20 finds), grabbed some needed supplies at Office Depot and Target and finally bought some much needed groceries. Came home to watch TV and veg. We watched the 2-hour premier of the Sci Fi Channels’ newest original series, Eureka, and are willing to give it a chance. It seems intriguing. We’ll see if they can keep the plots interesting.

Sunday night – Kenny needed to clean up his office (he took out two large bags of trash and shredding) so while he did that I re-organized my craft supplies. I am currently actively working on both ATCs and scrapbooks and my supplies were organized but in a multitude of boxes. It was getting ridiculous so I consolidated it all into one organizer tower that even has wheels so I can now roll the stuff out to the table, have *almost* everything at hand and roll it back when I need to put it away. Yay! Now if only my prints I ordered last week would come in I could start on the next two small trip scrapbooks…

It was another fun and sort of productive weekend although I did not take the nap I really wanted and needed! I guess I should try to put that on my list for next weekend! LOL!
