about me
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and love it! It’s a great city with a lot of hidden spots to check out. And did you realize that it’s the 4th largest city in the United States? My background though is Cuban-American. Although I was born in Houston, my first language was still Spanish and I have continued to stay fluent.
I went to college at Texas A&M University in little old College Station where after 3 degree changes and 5 years I graduated with a B.A. in International Studies. Several of my trips were made while at A&M through university sponsored programs – one of the best ways to get some traveling done at low costs while earning university credits.
I am married to a fellow Aggie & computer engineer. Our home is complete with our two rescue pups, Rosie (a Weimaranar mix) and Radar (a chihuahua).
I am currently social media marketer – after all, I’ve been a social media junkie since I started blogging back in 2001 and being an early adopter on most popular social media platforms.
I am also a freelance photographer – I’ve shot weddings, including destination weddings in Cancun, Oaxaca, Belize & Las Vegas but primarily focus of family photography.
