Doxies are Top Dogs!
It’s no surprise that dachshunds are in the top 10 dog breeds registered with AKC… They are actually ranked 6th! Yay for wiener dogs! They are such an amazing breed. Small enough to be a lap dog but not small enough to be yappy; smart, loyal and mischievous in a good way and a great family dog!

i know it’s going to sound weird, but i love the pitbull. they are such a fun loving, affectionate breed, and so eager to please. of course, their stature and eagerness to please can go wrong in the hands of a bad or negligent owner. but i love them. 🙂 they get a bad rap, but they really are incredible dogs. i guess part of my love for them is that they are misunderstood, but also that the best dog i ever had was a pitbull. i still miss her.
I loved my boxer… wish that I could have kept him, but they need a lot of attention and at the time, I was unable to give it to him. Now, I have a mutt.. I got her at a shelter, she may be part coyote, it took her a year to really get used to me and my wife and another 4 years to trust people on the street. She is the best dog in the world. She looks like a queensland healer
i’m not tied to any one particular breed, but i love my Boo… aka Madison, my German Shepherd mix, for those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting her yet. but of course, you’d knew i’d say that. 😉
I’m a sucker for big goofy Golden Retrievers – the floppier and more cuddly the better.
Actually, most anything with four paws, wagging tail and wet nose makes me feel like throwing frisbees and buying Greenies. *sigh* I need a dog…
