I’m a bad blog mommy!
Wow. I don’t think I have ever ignored my blog for this long. It’s been over a month!!! I need to try to get back in here more often.
No need for all the details but here is a little bit of what has been going on…
> I celebrated my 1 year anniversary at work. Yay! I feel like I have found a good place to work and look forward to celebrating a few more anniversaries here.
> We saw Spamalot – what a fun musical and a wonderful adaptation of the movie. The Monty Python humor was very well translated to the stage, believe it or not.
> Traveled to Austin for work – wow, I hadn’t been there in ages. Must be sure to go back soon with Kenny!
> Made a wonderful contact at a local nightlife magazine and did a photoshoot for them… looking forward to seeing the shots in print and to doing more shoots for them!
> Celebrated Kenny’s 36th birthday.
> Went to my first roller derby last night – how fun! Can’t wait to take Kenny to the next one…
My most exciting news is that two of my photos were selected to be in a local photo exhibit! Yay! One of them will even be used in the marketing materials. I am so proud of how my photography hobby is progressing. We (Fresh Photography) are getting wonderful exposure and making great contacts. Our work is well-respected among other photographers are on our level and I am having so much fun with it. Not to mention the amazing number of new friends I am making through my participation in the local Flickr scene. It’s fun to be inspired by people you know.
That is the most exciting stuff for now… I will try to keep you guys better posted and thanks for still reading!!

congrats on the pics! and finally, you updated. yay!
I always knew that two heads were better than one, but who would have known how much we rock? 😀 (Well, actually, I had my suspicions…) Can’t WAIT to see your photos up at the show – it is going to be so exciting!
Nice update. Regarding the photos, it’s great to hear that something you are passionate about is bearing fruit. It reminds me I want to find time to finish reading Wishcraft.
Congrat on the exhibit!!
Roller Derby…how much fun. Daniel and I watched Rollergirls a lot on A&E last year. We just found out about the Dallas team and hope to go soon.
