Identical Strangers: A Memoir of Twins Separated and ReunitedIdentical Strangers: A Memoir of Twins Separated and Reunited by Elyse Schein
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A fascinating true-story recounted by the twins themselves. Separated at birth and adopted by separate families who were not aware they were adopting one half of a set of twins, Paula & Elyse find each other in their early 30’s. This is their story as they discover each other and research their shared origin and the circumstances behind their separation.

The book is well written. The story switches between Paula & Elyse, as each tells their story and their account of key events in their initial 2 1/2 years of meeting. It is a compelling read. My only gripe – and it is nothing than can be remedied by the writing so I don’t count it as part of my rating – is that one of the sister’s personalities is a little more grating to me personally, LOL.

A good book if you are looking for some non-fiction to read.
